Terms & Conditions.

Payment and Registration -
I provide my consent for my child to participate and attend in activities arranged by Small Stars. Enrolling in our Small Stars program is based on the duration of the term. Late registrations will be charged pro-rata. Irrespective of attendance, payment is on a per term basis and is expected by the date due on the invoice. Small Stars hold no responsibility for missed attendance. Failure to pay the invoice by the due date gives Small Stars the right to cancel student registration from the program at their discretion.

The parent/guardian agrees to indemnify Small Stars against all costs, whether commissions, legal fees or otherwise, incurred by Small Stars programs or authorised agents relating to the recovery of any monies, goods or services that may be outstanding from time to time pursuant to the terms of this agreement. By registering your child in the Small Stars program, you agree to remain on the premises at all times, and acknowledge that the parent/carer of the registered child is still responsible for them at all times. Small Stars does not take responsibility for any injury or incident that may occur during our program. Small Stars reserve the right to discontinue any student for reasons including but not limited to inappropriate behaviour and non-payment of fees. The Small Stars program cost is the same for all registered children and is subject to change for future programs. By registering your child into the Small Stars program, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions set out.

Absences -
No refund will be given where a session is missed during the term. If a session is missed a make-up session will be offered subject to availability. A make-up session must be booked by contacting Small Stars prior to attending in order to ensure class numbers are not exceeded. A make-up session can not be deducted from the next term's fees. The make-up session can be taken at any other venue or on any other day of the week. I understand that a credit or refund will not be provided in place of a make up session.

Small Stars Refund Policy -
No refund will be given where a session is missed or for early withdrawal from sessions during the term. If a session has to be cancelled and a make-up session is not available, that fee will be carried forward and credited to the next term, or a refund provided at the conclusion of the term if a child is not continuing with the program. Small Stars will offer a refund if withdrawing from the program after the first session only. After this time, a refund will not be available. Participation in a free trial voids eligibility for a refund. For extenuating circumstances, a refund may be offered at the discretion of management.

Safety -
For the safety of children participating in our program, and in the best interest of our coaches, we must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the registered child. This includes asthma and anaphylaxis. Parents understand that they are solely responsible for providing any medications or medical devices their child may need while participating in our program, including Ventolin and EpiPen. In the case of an emergency situation where your child/ren needs medical attention, I authorise any person to take all such steps as may be necessary for the proper treatment and care of my child, inclusive of first aid and calling an ambulance.

Privacy -
Small Stars may video and photograph sessions and use this material for marketing or training purposes, including but not limited to Social Media platforms. I agree to my child’s image/s being used, unless notification was provided to state otherwise during enrolment. For any large scale marketing, Small Stars will contact families for further permission.

COVID-19 Policies -
The use of hand sanitizer and proper hygiene practices is expected at all times. Attendance numbers will be capped to ensure they do not exceed the limit outlined by the governing bodies and programs will be modified to ensure compliance of the regulations at any given time. COVID-19 restrictions must be complied with at all times. This includes checking in with our NSW Government QR code, wearing masks when required, and limiting attendance to one parent/caregiver per child when restrictions are in place. If you are unwell, have been in a Covid hotspot or have been with someone who has tested positive to Covid, you may not attend a Small Stars session. We reserve the right to ask a family to leave if they believe any member to be unwell. If you have tested positive to Covid-19, you must notify Small Stars.
